The Journey

Inquero began with a singular mission: simplify studying abroad for global students with free, multilingual guidance.

What started with Studying‑in‑Germany.org in 2012, soon grew into a trusted network, powered by nine country‑focused portals across Europe and beyond. Each site was a curated resource: breaking news, research, practical guides, and policy updates tailored to international students.

Our flagship portal Studying‑in‑Germany.org served over 6 million annual readers and housed a 200,000+ strong student email list.

Across the UK, Spain, France, the US, Canada, Australia, Sweden, and New Zealand, our platforms consistently delivered multilingual content in English, German and in some cases additional languages too.

Over 13 years, we emerged not just as a content publisher, but as one of the most influential promoters of higher education to international students, shaping awareness, policy understanding, and recruitment intent globally.

The Exit

In March 2025 the flagship portal Studying‑in‑Germany.org was acquired by Expatrio, a Berlin‑based student services company. Expatrio offers German-blocked accounts, visa support, health insurance, and relocation tools; making the portal a natural fit within their digital ecosystem aimed at supporting international students.

In June 2025 the remaining eight country-specific portals, along with mastersdegree.net, were acquired by Barcelona-based edtech leader StudiesIn. The deal included well-established platforms such as Studying‑in‑UK.org, Studying‑in‑Spain.com and Studying‑in‑France.org. This strategic acquisition strengthened StudiesIn’s position as a leading European study‑abroad platform, enhancing reach and service offerings across key markets.

These transactions completed the transition of the entire Inquero-powered study abroad network into trusted new ownership, validating years of audience growth, content authority, and institutional partnerships.
